The virtual Career Planning Centre (CPC) provides you with "life after graduation". For some of you, graduation may seem far away; however, time flies by and it is never too early to start thinking about your future once you have started your clinical school journey with us. The CPC gives you guidance on where you might wish to do your internship - for non-Malaysians, this would mean leaving the country, what specialty choices or career paths could you take, applying and preparing for licensing examinations, and it has a collection of thoughts on housemanship and working as a doctor from our graduates and doctors from elsewhere.
While the CPC would updates the provided information regularly as needed, the resources provided are not exhaustive and you must proactively ensure the timeliness and accuracy of the information yourself. We cannot bear the responsibility should you have been misinformed by dated information on this VLE.
You are also very welcome to discuss your future, either professionally or personally, with Prof. Andrew Law and other relevant individuals in Student Services. We are here for you and will do our best to assist you in attaining your goals, but you must have the passion and "start the fire"!
